How in the world so you get these birds so clearly? with a macro lens? just stunning sir. Everything here works for me, composition, colors, focus, clarity and in this case the colors of this bird are outstanding . Thank you for sharing your photograph.

    Thank you so very much. I am four feet away and the Olympus camera and lenses are very sharp. This was taken with a 12-60mm lens.

Exquisite portrait of this little American Goldfinch. I like the contrast of yellow and black. The reflection in the eye is spiritual. Also the leaves give a sense of security. The feet show enormous strength.

What a cute bird. He's so clear and detailed with his bright eye and his beak open as if to comment. Nice shot, maybe could crop off a little of the right hand side?

Brilliant shot little bird. Love the colours, looks like late in the afternoon, and gives a great soft warm light to the photo. Great pose with the beak open and nice catch light in the eye.
Maybe just a little too much on the right, but thats probably just being a little picky. Lovely shot

Cute and it looks like you caught him singing too. I like the yellow finches, I see them darting around the yard. Nice close-up of this one. Love his little beak and the way he is perched on the stem. Nicely shot.

beautiful shot with this pretty little bird. it is a tad underexposed and could possibly desaturate just a tiny bit but great focus and detail captured and great bokeh. i think if a bit lighter and desaturated it would be perfect. IMO. nice job.
