And Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
A truly perfect shot. No,no need for flash, good job you cloned out the red nail polish. One point,,,,next time put the flower in between your fingers in a clenched hand as if it was a ring.Anyway its perfect. J.S

WOW! What a sweet dedication. Blushing ...

Miss Annie... This is stunning! The lighting... Colors... Clarity... Shooting one handed! Woman.. You amaze me! The details.. The soft blur.. Oh my Teacher.... You continue to raise the bar. And I would empty the sky of stars to thank you for this lovely photo and dedication. You my friend are the Epitome of Fairness and kindness. Meeting you is well worth the price of admission on FAR... Thank you! For today... I feel special and blessed. I am humbled by your dedication... Blessed by your friendship. :)

I like the way your hand looks. Imagine it as a vase. The close-up of the flower is excellent, especially since you did this while holding the flower. I would have needed a tripod. Great lighting, focus and technique.

I like the idea of leaving the hand in - it adds extra interest and gives a different story. Nice depth of field to blur the hand slightly. Good focus on the flower

I've used this technique myself on occasion and have always cloned out the hand. Now I wish I hadn't! It really adds something to the image, the way you've used the dof and it emphasizes the size and delicacy of the pretty little flower without being intrusive. Lovely!
