This is a lovely shot of crane. Your subject is suitably framed here and the photograph has good focus with appropriate amount of light. Overall color ambiance is good. Perfect crisp reflection in water and it looks lovely. Well done. Murad

Great shot Willie, did you use a tripod? The sharpness and colours are wonderful. anytime I get near a heron it sits there till i set up my sticks then flies, I am sure I can hear them laughing as they go!

Thank you so very much! I never use a tripod shooting herons because the action is too fast. I was sitting in my car on a boat launching ramp and this guy flew in and walked out on this log and all I had to do was shoot through the open window. I was steady from the open window.
