Holy incredible detail on this shot! Great composition and a nice smile for the camera. :) I love the colour in the background, almost looks like fire. The tip of the beak is s tad soft. But I wasn't really looking at his nose while he was staring straight at me. Great contest entry. Good luck. :)

I shoot all the birds in my back yard. I have to go about 1/8 a mile to get the herons.

Nice job Willie I think. Beautiful bluejay .Looks like that big old sunflower blurred out in the background. Really sets him off.Very sharp. Hope I got the name right. If not all well.

It looks like you have nature in the eye and that really works for me. Color work is excellent and I like the detail. Good luck in the contest!

Wow, what an awesome shot to get in such a short amount of time. Looks like he posed for you! The clarity i outstanding especially in his eye and neck feathers! Love the muted background - the orange seems to make him pop off the page. Was this done in macro? Great Job!

Fantastically sharp focus on the eye and so much detail in the feathers. Good depth of field to blur out back ground. Very nice and thanks for sharing
