It does look like a face, trying to break out from under a red cape. Great detail in the textures. Excellent lighting and exposure and composition.

A very nice, bright and clear shot of this beautiful bud. I like the blazing red of the poppy bud and the detail you have captured. The quality of this posting is very good. Its pin sharp, the exposure is good and the composition lends a lot to the overall look. A very fine image, well done!

This is a real interesting look, The first time I have ever seen a poppy opening. Thank you for showing, and your picture is so clear I can see the sharp hair like things all over the out side of the pod or I don't know what you call it, it surrounds the flower. Nice picture.
