for me a measure of good art is when it has an impact on the viewer , well Cleo for me this certainly did , sort of made th ahirs on my neck stand up , so vivid an image and concept , maybe touching the primeval fear weve inherited of the dark and evil spirits ooooooh!!

It is very original and very well constructed, The colors you use blend well to add a mystical effect to the art, I like the red flash in the corner, it lends depth tho the picture.

Interesting idea which has been executed with imagination. I think there is a bit too much dark on the left and it is not clear what the light spots under the branch correspond to.

Thank you for your kind review. It is dark because its night. The light spots are moonlight creating magic. As a kid, did you ever sneak into a forest or graveyard at night and clear de lune when everything seems magic and all shapes change form. That is what happens in the picture.

I love the fluidity in the painting. The overall 'softness' of the scene with lovely colour splashes makes this immensely viewable.The branch in a complimentary colour gives it a depth. Good luck in the contest!

Really nice piece. I love the dark tones in contrast with the light tones in the middle. The piece has a lot of depth and is that a lions face I see? Overall a really nice piece.
