This is a very clear and focused picture which I find heart warming as it seems like the bird is looking straight at you with something like trust in its eye. Was this shot taken from a distance or were you able to get quite close to the subject? The picture is nicely centred and framed. Thank you for sharing

The detail is geat, the color is is so soft and natural, the lightening must be just where it was needed. Great eye...you must have to capture this, and yes, a beautiful eye of this bird. The little dot of light reflecting in the pupil makes it truly a wonderful photograph! Best wishes for the contest.

Perfect detail. Especially in the critical area of the eye. Totally out of focus background make woody really stand out. Finally good rule of 1/3s. Overall fanstastic shot.
