really nice crisp capture. the calrity is great. the angle of the shot is great. the capture of the light is perfect. the cropping is good. overall excellent work(clapping)

Good use of the light to keep the detail in the yellow. I have a hard time doing that. Was this in filtered light? You also have a nice POV with the other one being blurred.

Taken a year ago, as I remember, it was not in filtered light. It was an open garden area at a retirement community. Thank you very much for your good review. Glad you liked it!

Yes, they have happy, smiling faces! A lovely vibrant image Sarah with great focus and dof.

I've been up since 2am with Sasha and have just come back from the vets. She has colitis (inflammation of the stomach/bowel) and the vet said she's in a lot of pain, poor thing. She's had an injection, antibiotics and I have some more medication to keep giving her. So I'm going to have the rest of the day on the sofa with her having cuddles I think. At 13 she deserves some TLC when she's poorly! Catch you soon. Chrissie.

The yellow really stands proud and strong in the background it's in. I really like that 2D feel it has, it looks like you painted this on.
The deep blurred background allows the eye to really focus on the yellow flower that pops out right at you.

And the green leaves and stem also provides a sense of nature to this image.
