Simple, elegant, gorgeous, just perfect! Waterfalls and HDR's are 2 of my favorite parts of photography. This is a great piece. Good job!

Beautiful image of a beautiful scene. You've done a wonderful job capturing the movement of the water and the depth of the scene. The light in the trees suggest a light, airy mood. I like the curvature of the river. Outstanding technical skills. Lovely!

The technical details you describe are beyond me! HDR? Tonemapped? Photomatrix? Tiffen DFX? Are we from the same planet? But anyway, whatever you did, you produced a stunning image. You managed to get a lot of the water into the frame, it looks stunning. The clarity, colour vibrance and DOF are all great. I would just love to see the original image so that I could compare how much it's changed with all this editing you've done.

You are correct, it is an incredibly beautiful place. The pale greens make this picture of Pop right off the screen. This is the sort of natural scene that I am very drawn to. Your shutter speed has made this a joy to view, and your angle, puts the viewer right into the scene..like looking through a window! Donkeyoatey

As always you have produced an excellent photo. I believe you when you say that this is one of the most beautiful places in Scotland. You have captured a lovely atmosphere with this photo. I can almost hear the birds singing and the sound of falling water.

The long exposure work so well in this image, giving the little waterfall the desired silky look. Your photo is of course also pin sharp, and I am especially impressed by the details of the foreground. I also impressed by how the light is falling on the trees and the rocks in the foreground, and how well you have captured it. The colors are out of this world, but still nice and natural.

I also like very much the format you have used. It is perfect for this take. Your POV is perfect and has created an excellent DOFF. The eye is following the stream of water until it disappears around a bed at the top and this evokes interest to what is around this bend. An all together excellent shot.
