Frogs are a very special kind and your design just expresses in a very nice way their lif style and abilities to stand out

your design is well defined in so many single dots that it shows your passion and love for what you do
Your ability to have an inner view for the perfect shadow and light application brings your design out as a perfect 3D image - the very few colors and the diagonal shape show a great use of space and I think the white background is just perfect to let the frog stand out in perfection

The way you create the perfect contrast and lighting just with dots show your mastery of the technique

Excellent composition, striking in simplicity and beauty - the expressive eye and the angle of his eyes makes this image special creating body language and a thoughtful essence

I think you have created a master piece just for fun like you say - excellent job

I was originally attracted to this by the colors, and the composition, at first glance, but then had to really spend some time admiring the technique. To be able to create such nice depth with what is basically dots, is wonderful, and I was drawn into looking at each bit od shading, and the way you created not only textures, but the feel that he is going to move, if I look away for even a second. Nicely composed, with him leaning a bit to the left, that adds such a nice natural, and realistic feel.

Nicely done. A lot of work went into this picture. Well balanced, colours are great. I am very familiar with the technique as a couple of my daughters do this kind of work. Me I prefer to take photographs but can really appreciate this lovely work of art.

Never heard of pointillism before. Sounds hard to do and I assume you should have a very stable hand on order to be able to do this perfectly. Well done for this.

It is very sad that I have no 6's at all.

First of all one must know how to draw, then to understand the essence of pointillism where dots and density of dots matter. Very masterful Lucien but I do see some lines and that is a no no in true pointillism. Specifically on the top of his head, around eye, but that could very well be the upload.

Your shadowing is splendid and the blow out of his skin in his puffed out throat is mesmerizing. I can see the varying hues of green which give him depth, texture and of course we can hear him as well.

NIcely composed into that exciting diagonal with no interference of background I would like you to know that this art is poetry.

Yes, this is one frog I would not mind kissing.

    LIBA Dream,
No lines, I used only dots, your eye is putting them together and creating the lines. that is what I like about the technique the viewer, the audience, really gets involved with the image.
Thank you for a really nice review.
    Have a great day,
    Cheers!!

This is the first time I've seen a pointillism piece on here. I know from trying it that pointillism takes an incredibly long time. And this one came out so nice, too! The frog is excellent. It really looks like it's going to sing its heart out. However, there's almost no background. I'm imagining leaves or water behind the frog.
