I think yo did a very good job with the kitten - having owned felines my whole life I hope I am a good judge! That little face and expression is how one would look when faced with something it doesn't trust, just like the body movement is presented - leaning away. And the puppy looks so sweet like it is excited to be friends. Nice detail with the grass, too.

I think yo did a very good job with the kitten - having owned felines my whole life I hope I am a good judge! That little face and expression is how one would look when faced with something it doesn't trust, just like the body movement is presented - leaning away. And the puppy looks so sweet like it is excited to be friends. Nice detail with the grass, too.

nothing more comforting than to have children by your side. My grandkids spent the week and they just went back to their dad's yesterday. My youngest is 8 and I love it when he curls up next me and falls asleep, they grow up way too fast

Oh I meant by "boy" cat! I'm sorry for the confusion. I have two cats (brothers) and they usually are on either side of me when I am on this site. But yes, he is my baby!

Thank you An for an all around great review. I was painting this one for the digital painting contest dog and cats, but decided it wasn't that good so I posted it instead of saving it to enter in the contest that goes in October, maybe I should have saved it after all LOL

I like how this piece looks like a pastel or oil painting and not digital at all. Very soft charming and pleasant portraits of these two. The green back ground gives excellent contrast to the piece.
