Kind of creepy Mary and almost a sceletal look to the poor cold cricket. The amazing thing is all the details you captured, wow very impressive. Love the techs to create this ET type look to the cricket! Unique and wonderful work!

Thanks once again, glad you enjoyed the photograph, I had fun making it look like this was fairly ordinary original to play with :) Mary

Not to bad of a shot, i like the effect you got, focus is good as well. I think for how how did this, the result came out not to bad, well done, and well done again, for doing it alittle different.

Creepy, Mary, but nice capture! The flouresence of the insect is amazing. How did you get this?
Nice focus details. The black background is in great contrast to your subject. Very good photo!

Thanks so much, the photo itself was a little bland so in software edit I inverted the colors, black was a cream colored wall and the cricket (alien) was a dull brown color. He was happy when I took him outside and popped back into the greenery. :) Mary

Very good title for this one. It sure looks different with the inverted color. I first thought it was an x-ray type. That background sure works nice with this one.

Thanks so much, still not sure it comes under mixed media but enjoyed playing to get this result. :) Mary

I guess with inverting it you can see more detail on it {shudder}, and it looks eerie against the black, but very effective. Shame you cropped it a little too much at the top though.

Thanks so much, I appreciate your comments. The feelers go for another 2-3cm so I decided it was better to chop and see detail than be that bit further out.
