Excellent close up, and although focus is nice and sharp the way you have captured the colors give a warmth to the image that I really like, nicely framed and great overall composition, great job!

Good presentation with nice lighting and detail on the upper body. It sounds like you are ready for spring while we are going into fall.

Hi Mary, super macro and bees are fun to shoot as you can take dozens of shots before you get a really top shot as is this one. It almost looks like you used a flash. Pin sharp focus on this little one with a good frame and dark bg.

The black background compliments the bee. I like the way you got the close up shot of this bee while it was sucking the nectar of the flower. I like your angle and framing.

Nice shot!
I love the close view. I love the colors and the background is great. I gave you four stars because it is not in sharp focus.

This picture looks better the smaller it is. What I mean is when you enlarge it on the screen you only then realize that the head of the bee is a tad out of focus. With macro photography it is so hard to get the depth of field correct for the whole composition. It is trial and error. The front leg and wings are perfect but the head and tail are just not there. Its still a wonderful shot and a keeper. Thanks for sharing
