Captured the raindrops nicely, great colour in the lilies, not over keen on the railings hence 4 stars not 4 1/2

The lilies are truly beautiful with the strong red colors. The background is however far too busy for the flowers to stand out properly. You need to have a more shallow DOFF for the background to be more blurred, and I can see that your f/22 is far too high for this to happen. I am also surprised about the very high ISO.

The flower itself could have been even sharper for the droplets to stand out better. The stamens are well defined and sharp but the petals are a tad soft. The exposure works quite well and the colors are nice and natural.

As mentioned before, this photo is far too busy for a good composition. I think this could be helped a bit by a tighter cropping all around apart from the top. If you also added a vignette it would have a calming effect. This is still quite a nice shot of the flower itself, but your photo needs some adjustments to really stand out. Still I wish you luck with the contest.

Fantastic shot! This is indeed an unusual lily. The red colors are breathtaking. The blooms are framed perfectly by the greenery in the background. The raindrops are an added enhancement.

The clarity of this photo is really great as in super clear with great lihgting also. However,I see quite few distractions in the background and a little bit short of the composition.But other than that,this is a nice shot.

I am not going to argue with you over the name of these, but I would have said that they were of the Fuchsia family. The thing is you have seen them close up, and I have not. But getting away from that, they are very beautiful, and you have done a good job of photographing them. Your focus was pin sharp, and you have got the light just right to emphasize the deep red. This has to be a good photo in my books. Very nice indeed. Roy :0)

I really like these red lilies. A very unusual colour for a lily. and a good mix of open and unopened ones and the rail to left adds interest. In fact I think it's worth more than 5 but I don't have them.

I like the sharpness and clarity on the lillies. The vertical lines in the image lean to the left and detract the eye a tad, perhaps a tighter crop could have improved. Your background handling, choice of aperture, works well to isolate your subject.

These are gorgeous. The hot red is mesmerizing. The dew drops enhance the beauty of this flower.
I think if you blur the background the lily will stand-out making is even more beautiful.
Excellent lighting and view can improve on the angle so that a bit more of the bloomed lily can be seen.
