It is very clear, very well focused, I love the image you have framed, the color is intense, very lucsurious. I love the pollen stems( I dont know there proper name) they look like fingers.

Beautiful colors so bright and
the yellow in the center really draws your eyes down into the bloom. Focus is very good showing nice detail,
composition and technique are very good. Very nice shot.

Looks like a colourful fire. Those dazzling reds and yellows. I would have preferred if you didn't crop the flower as there is no scale of reference. Good luck in the conrtest.Cyn

This is a beautiful color on this lily. I like the way you took it so close up and the way the stamen are standing up. i Like the way you did the frame in black. I think it would have been better if all of it were in focus.

This is a very nice macro shot of the stamens of a lily flower. The colors are rich looking. The focus is good. The crop and composition are good. This is a well done effort.

Just perfect for the contest. Beautiful color and amazing detail in this perfect full frame close up. Neat work with the light. It seems as if the light comes from within. I am not sure if the picture frame is needed, but it seems to enhance the flower colors. Best luck for ther contest.

The colors are intense and dramatic. I think the frame actually works well with the piece. Sometimes they look strange but it works nicely with the piece. The white spot on the front anther looks more like a mistake then a glare, perhaps adding a little yellow to it would change that. I would also like to have seen a crisp moment/ focal point in the piece. It might be from downsizing the image, but it feels a little blurry. Good luck in the contest!

It is not a mistake or a glare it is the stigma of the lily which sits atop the pistle and is the receptor of pollen to fertilize the bloom. If you look at lilies you will find that there is always one of these visibly present In photos, they are often cloned out. Thank you for the nice review.

Very cool. I'm glad to see your researching to figure out what is going on. There would be a bit of mystery if every one had it... is it a camera spot? no, maybe a galre, no... research :) I probably would ave ended with just clone it out so props to you for thinking outside the box!

Gosh this is very vivid. How did you find this? I like the close-up, you did great on that. The bright yellow really pops from the center to make a truly delightful image. Good digital effects and shot.
