There was a little too much dark blue for my liking, but the piece is good overall. nice and balanced. Fun and whispy. Good work.

Firstly I think your name choice is a very clever oxymoron - star DUST which implies a light weight has been perfectly created using the heaviest medium - Oil paint.
The painting reminds me of the most beautiful bright clear South African night skies - the lighter blues appearing to be the milky ways(I see there is a very active Cape Cod Astronomical Society.)
The textures are built up so well making you feel like you are traveling through the night sky past meteor showers and falling stars created by the coloured scored lines.
My only suggested change would be that you consider concentrating a star dust spray to immediately draw the eye to one spot on the painting after which the eye can wonder over the rest of this wonderful composition!

This does have the illusion of a starlit night. This begs to be touched although I would probably get my fingers broken. The visual texture is what is most interesting to me.

Another great piece Ken. I like the layering it really makes the starts come out at you. Great colours makes the sky burst with energy. Nice work. Dave :-)

I love how this work captures the very essence of star dust. It was a very wise name choice. This piece makes me want to wish upon a star at this very moment! I'm curious as to what media you used to make this piece.

Nice coloring. Jackson pollack style but still new. The shading of the blue background centers the image.

Been away too long and have missed some of your art. This piece really caught my eye as it is alive. Bring it up close shows a lot of depth but also a lot of depth of thinking. I can nearly hear your thought pattern as this is being painting. A lovely piece of interesting art.

#9 Ranked Traditional Photographer

Thought that I reviewed this one earlier. The painting certainly reflect the tittle very well. Colors are pleasing and the movement keeps the eye roaming around the canvas. Well done

It reminds me of fireworks. I like the texture to the piece and how it appears to brighten just a bit towards the center, like the night sky.

If it had been me that painted this I think I would have titled it Fireworks. It looks like a night sky filled with firework bursts. I love the colours in this and the textured appearance give this piece of art a real depth that a lot of paintings don't have. Thank you for sharing.
