Awww, Love this!! I used to catch fireflies as a child, they were so amazing to me. I probably had the same facial expressions as these children which I love. Cool golden light glowing from the jars. Great backdrop with the full moon in the sky. Thanks for sharing, love it. ~Alveria

I looked and looked and looked and could not figure out why this piece attracted me so much... The subject? the aura of innocence? The beautiful blue? The balance of the whole composition? Interesting effect: the faces of kids are not exactly what one would call beautiful. But the expression, the tenderness, the purity - so captivating! I guess, I answered my own question about why I liked it so much. Great details. Very nice job!

I have done that many times myself putting fireflies in a jar. for the science of it. lol nice glow on the kids and the crab in the moon. fine work as usual.

Well, I knew even before clicking on the thumbnail who this was by - your style is so distinctive! I like that you ran the overlapping color lines in different directions in grass and sky - keeps it interesting - and the darkness of the colors really does make this seem like a night scene. The figures and the expressions on the faces of the children is precious. Such a lovely scene! :)
