I remember well, those magical nights capturing fireflies! To me, that was the summer. I like the light in this picture, and the way the fireflies light up the childrens legs and faces.. the Moon is a happy orb, and this is a wonderful childhood scene. Donkeyoatey

good work here mark,i,ve seen thuis phenomena before where fireflies are caught & put in a jar & act as lights-cheaper than mains electric!
nicely rendered coloured composed & presented artwork showing good skills & technique with shadows & lighting effects with intriguing initial impact!

How cute and the capturing of fire flies is a feat all on its own. Cute work and tells the story of how kids enjoy nature and are in awe of it. Nice bright colors to make the kiddies stand out well with their jars of fire flies! Nicely done.

Wonderful piece of art you have created here. It reminds me of all those nights we would sit around the yard and capture these little guys. Yours textures and shadow effects are very good as so is the coloring. I am glad I got to review this. -sherry

A bright and cheerful artwork. It works well when the dark shapes of the chairs are mirrored in the moon. The glowing lamps are the focus of the composition and the delight shown by the children is evident.
