Another great job with the Sharpies. This brings back childhood memories of catching fireflies with my cousins inn Minnesota. Great fun it was. Again, wonderful detail and shading. You do such an awesome job with skin tones!

So cool My sister and I spent our childhood just like this. Good shading, detail, and expressions. The contrast of light and dark is very good.

This brings back memories for me as a child, but also of my grandchildren - these two look just like my 5 year old grandaughter Emerson and 3 year old Travis and they recently did just what your painting displays, out in our backyard. I love how you have captured the glow from the fireflies - not only from the jars, but reflected on the children's faces as well. Love the colors and overall lighting of this. Great work as always.

What sweet little children! I just love the expressions of wonder on their faces. you have handled the detail of the light really well and although I'm not an artist I do appreciate how hard that would have been. I also like the way it conveys night time.

the funny thing is i just finished and ready to put up for sale and my sons girlfriend says...my grandma(who has been sending me veggies by the bushel) would love to have this..oh well! the woman does grow some killer tomatos! so i shpped it to her..oh well guess ill have to do another..lol. glad that you like and thanks for the great review.

Like thow the fireflies light up the lamps and their faces. They look so engaged in what they're doing.
Like the colors a lot.
Like the texture the fireflies create.
LIke the whole atmosphere a lot.
