Her pose conveys her grief.
And I like the how you have done the outlines of her body, it's shape, the texture of her hair, the many colors of her skin.
But...and this is in the realm of artistic choice, so I would not grade down for this...the bright colors are so lively and energetic, that they don't convey the feeling of sorrow to me.
So, I find her pose contradicts the colors you've used, and in that way, the picture doesn't quite work for me.
But in terms of technique and composition, it's very good.

Hmmm well I for sure know that feeling!
This is a wonderful work of art. Your colors as always are vivid and eye catching. Her body position is tells the story of her devastation and sadness. Very good perspective. Best of luck in the contest.

I like the orange, portrays fiery while the blue lowlights portray deep sorrow. Poem is very well matched to this piece.
