I absolutely love the clarity of this photo. Aside from a great picture of a squirrel, I think the splash of green that the sapling branch adds to the photo and creates a perfect balance of color. Great picture.

This is a good capture Willie. The composition is strong with no distractions. Good colouring and your usual excellent detail. They tend to get shot rather than fed over here were they are regarded as a pest, but they still look cute. Mitch

Thank you so very much! Do you feed yours?

Yes, they eat at the bird feeders and I have a sunflower feeder for them; plus I have somewhere around 50 pecan trees that they enjoy. Rebecca

Wonderful to see this guy so close.
your focus is so good, we can see every little hair. Like how well we see his eye.
nice to catch him at dinner.
I like how you have captured him with the branch in front, his tail peeking through the branches.
the greens are nice next to his colors.
good placement with space to his right.
The picture seems just a little dark, but I'm not objecting. I like it this way.
It feels more intimate. Just the squirrel and us.
nice work!

We don't get these cute little fellas in Australia...drats! lol The low key lighing gives a nice moodiness to the image Willie. He has a nice highlight in his eye which brings him to life ( important ). The focus is pin sharp..can almost count the hairs in hisn fur lol and the tight framing brings him in nice and close so we get a good look at him. So cute! :)
