It is truly a 'blue' moon. I like the dark background as I like night photography. It is placed center and there isn't anything I would change for a nice photo.

Remember that song "Blue moon, you saw me standin alone...." anyhow I'm dating myself, tut tut.

Eileen, it's a good shot, tripod and all. Nice and sharp and you took care to center this well into the frame with good negative balance all round. There is good and solid symmetry displayed here.

The contrast, showing the detail of the moon, is well handled and your creativity shines....a blue moon. Why didn't you make it green as in "the moon is made outta green cheese" Hey, you could do a collage of many moons all different colours...just an idea for you to play with.

I like your concept and you've done a great job of using your photoshop to color the moon. I like the fact it is centered in the picture and nicely framed with the black. Thank you for sharing
