The closer look is a great idea, even more awesome. Make me wonder how long this big structure can stand with out ongoing maintenance. Detail are quite sharp in this view!

    I think this will be hangin' here for a while, know a little about carpentry from my Grandfather, the Cherokee, old time talent, plus the preacher man hangs around/visits, he takin' good care!! Thank you very much Ben for your input of 'stuff'! Teasin' ya!!

You have captured this with great clarity and color, the composition is very good, wirh part of the white fence visble. The story is incredible, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could hear the story behind all the old buildings, may be more of them standing. Thank you so much for sharing, enjoyed very much

just love the photo and the story behind it. its the most impressive barn i have ever seen and the colors are stunning. he must have been a preacher with that steeple on the top of the barn. thanks for sharing the photo and the story.

This is even better close up. The red shows its age but still shines under the high sun. The size of this barn seems enormous. Still in great shape after all these years. Great carpenter.

a vertical frame would have done this photo better
colors look a bit off to me, but ps can fix that
exposure is good as is the clarity
nice photo
