I love this pic and the story, thanks for posting a closer view.
So have you been back to visit?

very nice shot Low

No, haven't been back again, really should have gone by there after our foot of snow--guess just too busy cleaning up the snow didn't think about it----Thank you for your terrific review Kat!!

What a great barn with lot's of character! Love the reds and look of the slightly aged roof! The top half of the background is just a tad bright/lacking contrast. Seeing this barn and reading your story about the spirit really gives meaning to this structure! You tell an awesomely chilling story! :)

I just love that story, and this is such a great shot of this barn, actually it is an unusual looking barn from some that I have seen. I am talking about the roof top and how it comes to a point on either side. I love how you capture it in this rustic setting. Excellent job.

I have never come across a barn this unique, maybe that is another reason I was so drawn to it----Thank you DB, for your terrific review!!

Wow! The feelings that this barn invokes even without your lovely words are very powerful. I never did get round to review the original so I am glad to have the chance to on this one! For me buildings have a huge sense of personality, though I am not sure that is the right word, and this barn speaks volumes. Thank you for sharing.

another great picture of this bar lowrider, love the rusticness of it and the red stands out nicely against the greenery, and the commentary sends a chill down my spine even tho this is the second time i've read it. great job

Great clarity and composition - I must admit I do like this look better - the other was almost swallowed up by the vast hills surrounding it. In this view we can better appreciate the artistry of the architecture!! I love all the clear details - I can see individual boiards and the shape of this barn is very unique!!

This photo of the barn does relay that eery feel. I think it was captured quite well. My only suggestion would be to shoot it at a different angle.

The photograph is great. The contrast between the green landscape and the red barn is strong. The composition is a little off balance, heavy on the right. However you still pulled off a strong photo.
