Wonderful shot. The clarity, composition and colors are great. You have achieved a very good DOF with your subject in perfect focus and the background nicely blurred to compliment the beautiful colors.

How big is it? Is it like the luna moth? It has very nice colors. Clear enough to see all the details in it. good job

I am not surprised it is the second largest moth or butterfly in the world. It looks huge and although I love it in the photograph, I doubt I would want to see one go flying past me! The colours on the wings are lovely and the pattern is incredible. The head part of the body reminds me of a furry spider (Ugh!). Perfectly framed, a very good shot.

Oh my goodness! What a colorful moth with beautiful wing patterns. It does look like it's a big guy. Obviously I've never seen one of these before. Your photos around the world are like opening a giant issue of National Geographic with endless pages of photos. Great submit and a beautiful photo.

Wow Fred! I have never seen one of these, what a gorgeous moth/butterfly, love the pattern on it and the colors. You captured it with excellent sharp focus, exposure and framing. My drop down won't let me give you anything higher than a five, but this is deffinately a six for me!

Lovely shot of this moth.. His wings look like a specially designed and colored painting.. Your capture is superb, use of lighting is wonderful.. It deserves 6 stars but the system of this site doesn't allow me..
