Amazingly powerful. The initial impact draws me immediately to view the image. Black and white in such saturated forms give depth and emotion. The artist's notes are superb and really a long and short enough to serve their function. Good luck in the contest my friend. Cyn

I like the all black background with the story and the meaning in various shades of white. The moon and piano give this piece great depth. Nice job!

Thank you very much! The notes were the most complicated. They are from the original and I had to be true to the composition.

I really enjoyed this. So unusual, unique. I like the negative positive aspect. The white looks really cool against the black. The musical notes are great. I especially like the cat for some reason. Great digital skills. Wonderful piece!
thanks, levon7

I am usually one to skip over art and review photography, but there is something striking about this work of art. I am not familiar with the composer that you are paying homage too; however, through your talent you have conveyed a message that leads the mind in many directions. However, I am puzzled by the cat in the for front. My mind takes me to a sirens song leading and drifting in the night.

Thank you very much for your very encouraging review and your high rating. It is an surreal work. The cat is part of the surreal take, but also there because felines are creatures of the night and often seen to look at the moon, its a symbol like the wolf at full moon.

You have done a good job. I am not sure about the fuzzy edges on the piano, woman and cat. However the composition is excellent and imaginative. Is the music score the real music? It is masterfully done!

PS. It is "Claire de Lune" and not Clear.

Thank you very much! Especially for pointing out the Claire. It's my #$%^&! spell checker. It understand only English it seems. It dos it each time I write something in French, Spanish or Italian. Sometimes I do not see the mess. Thank you for the great help. I am very ashamed about the violation of the French language and the title of one of my favorite musical works.
The fuzziness is intentional. It is a surreal vision, a fuzzy dream, my interpretation of the style of Debussy and Verlaine and a homage to both of them. The musical notes are originals from the sonata. Far the most complicated to paint since by all surreal take I had to be true to the original music.

Yes, the musical notes REALLY must have been a challenge. So well done.

Very surreal piece of art, I like the way the woman and Cat are cut out in almost white and the way she is walking down the path of the notes to the piano possibly to play it, this art work certainly inspires the imagination, good work.
