Good artist notes and I can see from the photo that beer making has come along way. Good composition and good details of the big steel vats. Good framing and lighting. Nice presentation.

Enjoyed your description of the brewery, we have one in our town run by a local family, always fun to tour.

I do like the story, and I'm still recovering from the boat rowing across the vineyard. On the subject of beer, why in the name of God would you go wandering around the countryside looking for boutique beers when you can buy Coopers anywhere. In addition, why would you look for beer in McLaren Vale, where you have such drop dead gorgeous reds. I am so shocked, I could almost row a boat across a vineyard. By the way, it is an interesting shot, even if I have never heard of the beer. Stick to real drinks :)

Hahahaha suppose you have to keep the other half happy at least one day a year :) Love reds went through our cellar about 3 months ago and said there were 17 bottles that had to be drunk in 2012 as that was there maturity - only have 2 of those left with some help from my son and a friend :)

i guess its ok to let them have it their way "once" a year LOL. Mclaren Vale is probably one of the biggest in the country. Very good quality wines. Great shot of the brewery. Lots of interest with good focus and techs. A good time was had by all i expect. Top shot.

I agree with your husband. I make most of my own beer in my spare time. It is from a kit so it does not take very long. Very nice work on getting this inside of the brewery. Everything looks so clean!

Hahahaha you would get on well with both hubby and son-in-law as they do make their own and were asking all the technical questions. Red wine and scotch (not together) are my favourite. Lots and lots of wineries here in SA :)

Interesting and unusual image. Not every day you get the opportunity to see what goes on inside a brewery. I like the way the image has been framed, the contrasts in colours of the steel.

A solidly, well taken, nicely composed and well balanced image.

If images tell a story your image does in completion. From the vats to the bottles WE GET IT! All lead lines straight, no tilt well cropped and framed to include many elements that add to the story.

Technically sharp as a tack through and through the way it ought to be. Well contrasted with varying tonality to render an image that sparkles with lusciousness. No manipulation save for the cropping shows us good exposure and pov is adequate as is contrast.

I like photos like yours. The image is a no nonsense, no muss, no fuss....this is what was there, have a look and thankfully due to your composition and technical abilities you have provided a well taken photograph.
