This is defiantly a huge trend in the wedding photography business; BTW, did you shoot this from your car, lol
A few years back I photographed a wedding and one of the shots was the bouquet toss, they must put money in these flowers cause the ladies go nuts over grabbing it. Anyway, the bouquet was in mid air and this girls was lunging for it. I BW everyone except for the flowers and the lunging girl, the customer went nuts. As a result, I had to change a few more photos for her liking.
Good stuff Willie, I always like to see smiling girls, nothing like a womenâ??s smile.

good entry for the contest willie,the selective has lifted what was a good wedding shot into a better one,the dark background has also added to it,and the bonus is you captured real nice smiling faces,well done..brian

I do like this. The selective colors are done very nicely and the tones of the flowers really compliment each other. Nice choice of B&W effect (assuming you have a choice - my program has abotut 20 B&W effects and I never know which one to choose for the best result!)I like how the dark background sets it off too.

I absolutely love the color splash in this. nice idea with that. the emotion captured in the picture is great. you can just tell that they are all very happy and joyful. I also enjoy the background choice. having a black background prevents distraction from the subject(s). very nice job

I think you have done well with the selective coloring. Nice framing good lighting. I would have completely blacked out the background as the gray tones there are distracting to me and takes away from the image. Thank you for sharing.

The black and white tones are great in this. The selective colour has been done really well to add impact to this picture and give it that wow factor. Think it needs lightening just a tad seems a bit dark to me. Great work!

What a nice photo. I love the way that you removed and inserted color throughout the photo, it really works well. I think the flowers in the hair are what take this from being interesting to being exceptional. Very creative.
