kklein, this is a wonderful creation, highly imanginative, and cleverly rendered. The bright colours and little characters are most appealing and fun to look at. Also, the purpose for which you have created it is highly admirable. I salute you for both this entry and for your work with children.
Peace,
Papa

Typo - kids can relate WITH- or relate to? Was an effective sales pitch for your program but.....it lacked a bit of humanity. Best wishes anyway.

Wonderful initiative and even wonderful is the execution.
Children, the future of this Earth in today's world have a great potential to get lost.
They lose toch with themselves, aren't able to identify themselves and thier emotions. The result is complete chaos.
This leads them to unleash thier untapped frustrations on themselves or on others.
I really congragulate your efforts and the course you have come up with.
It is bright, gay, colourful and attractive.
Children will fall for it like iron to magnet.
Keep it up!

I Like the image, it's colorful and bright. That really catches your eyes. I like the letter dinosaurs. I really like the c it looks like a dragon to me. I think that this picture works great for kids. Have you thought of having just the black out line and having a coloring contest for the kids?

Very interesting and delightful picture and it sounds like a great idea for helping youngsters deal with their emotions.

Thank you so much for your review and taking the time to critic the project. God Bless.
My name is Shanna Klein I am twenty-two years old and a student at the University of Evansville, Indiana. First, I would like to thank you personally for taking the time to read about our families project called "MEET THE ALPHA-SORUSES". It means a great deal for me to get your input on our idea.

With the violence and rage that kids my age are currently expressing, I believe measures must be made to prevent this rage from happening, but it must start when they are young. "MEET THE ALPHA-SORUSES" targets kids in the age group between two and seven years. The idea of this project is to help kids relate with a certain character of the alphabet.. How does this work? The "ALPHA-SORUSES" are a complete set of letters shaped in the form of a dinosaur. Each one was given a certain personality or habit that kids can relate with.

Currently, in my experience with working with children at daycare and local schools I realize that many of the kids do not know how to express their emotions thoroughly enough to tell an adult how they feel. This project targets the age that it does, for they are just learning about our world and helps them explain how they feel about something they have learned. If kids are targeted and learn to express their feelings at this age when they are young, then the rage that engulfs them when they are my age will be recognized thus preventing current actions of rage gone unnoticed.

The "ALPHA-SORUSES" combine a phonics program with psychological approach to teaching kids more about themselves and the world around them. This program allows children to explore their feeling and relate to something. It teaches kids to recognize other differences yet be aware that being different doesn't mean you can't be friends. This program is also fun for the kids to explore, from coloring a picture to writing their name, it gives kids a chance to have fun while learning hands on.

Our credentials are as follows: Oct. 1990 Discovery Channel Magazine mentions about our project; 1990 Patent at age six for the design; Minnesota Inventions Congress in 1990 the bronze medal out of 85 inventions for idea and concept; 1994 Minnesota Invention Congress retail of my book.; TV interview with "GOOD COMPANY" in 1994; and many public radio interviews in the Midwest; Burdick and Associates in 1994; EDSA International 1994; the National Daycare Association in 1994: currently UNESCO Research Monograth Publication and the ERIC Program in 2000. UNESCO is researching my program as a learning tool for "EARLY CHILDHOOD AND FAMILY EDUCATION".

The "ALPHA-SORUSES" are what you make of them, they can be a phonics program, or a psychological approach to teaching young kids more about themselves and the world around them.

We feel with the research we have proceeded, would be an asset of great need in our society for our project, "MEET THE ALPHA-SORUSES". I would like to thank you again for your time. If you have any questions or comments please call my mom anytime (Kathy) at 602-743-5994 or our home at 480-924-1342 and our email address "ALPHASORUSES@AOL.COM"

Very Good!

Looks like a lot of fun with a great message. Children today need this!

I think I may have put "MEET" and "THE" closer together on top of the page. Otherwise, great job on the picture!

Excellent! A simple but powerful learning tool. I think what I appreciate the most about the art is that it doesnt overstimulate the eyes. So much today is jazzed up with special effects or distorted images that are in my mind a bit much for a small one. Congrats on a job well done!

This is an amazing idea and a delightful way of putting it into works. As long as it is used in conjunction with other programs at home and school that work the same theme, it could be a great success story. Excellent! Hugs, Maggie
