Very pretty mixed media image of these intricate blooms. I love the flood filtering, the soft blends of complimentary colors in the background as well as the reflective stirrings. You've brought the character of these three and all their intricate detailing alive.

Lovely image! The color of the blooms are greatly complimented by the background colors and blur, plus the foreground and the added flood filter. They seem to be floating in air. Good use of mixed media skills, composition, focus and impact. The best of luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

Let me clarify. I think you and skyangel are the best at using skill and imagination to produce the best pictures on this site. Therefore, you both deserve six stars for almost all of your posts every week as far as I am concerned. But there are other people on this site, who really aren't up to par with the both of you, but do excellent work. And so I must disperse these stars to others, too. It is to give them credit for their outstanding work and more importantly, encouragement. I hope I have made myself clear. I look forward to seeing every post the both of you do.

It was already clear to me what you meant the first time, and I know very well what you think about my work. I have no problems understanding the way you are thinking either. A while back I read a comment given by a member in a contest, and for some reason I have not forgotten it. It said that my photo was the best, but she/he was voting for another to give them a chance as well. Your reasoning is a bit in this category. I hope you don't misunderstand and think I feel upset in any way. I am not even irritated. I just want you to understand my reaction, because the inscident with the contest DID irritate me. Would never have won it anyway. LOL I am not a pig headed person who think I deserve to win all the contests or collect all the stars on this site. I am in fact almost surprised that people think so highly of my images, because I am quite critical when it comes to my own work. It is so many good artists here on FAR and I always try to pick up what they do and learn from it.

I am quite easy going actually. LOL Sometimes I think it is a bit too much drama around us ladies on this site. The last days comments in the forum and also on members private pages has shown that so clearly. Was almost worried you were irritated with me, and was so glad to see this message.

Very special and beautiful presentation - you modifications make them look like glass flowers - half silk and half transparent and the reflection on you flood effect is making it perfect - well framed- perfect contrast and perfect work - awesome
