worth all the effort to get this shot Mary. My hip and back would suffer too! Cute little fellow nicely framed. Got real sharp focus and the sun lights him up nicely. Lovely textures. Techs are good. Very impressive shooting.

Hahaha thanks again, yes two days of clambering around the rocks and could hardly walk after the 6 hour dive home. All good now :)

Lovely capture of the fast-moving little guy. Excellent detail in the scale pattern and underbelly pattern, and the unique feet. He doesn't look impressed - I expect it gets a bit chilly up there! Nice shot!

Lovely shot and nice contrast with the rock. Only problem is no reference to indicate size of this creature, but sometimes you have to shoot fast to capture the image. Thanks for sharing. Cyn

Thanks Cyn should have made a comment that it is about 2.5 inches or 6cm and they move very quickly when disturbed :)

Wonderful impromptu shot! I especially like the lighter scales on the bottom and the shadow on the rock, both give well balance to the shot. Sorry to read about your hip, keep getting out there and Props to you for keeping your camera ready at all times!

Thanks Debbie appreciate your feedback, the hip stopped us from getting to the Pinnacles but I will post a photo later of the track, a lady the day before broke her collarbone and wrist doing the same walk so it is a bit rough going. Cheers Mary
