Nice catch. The back light through the wings really adds to the shot. The color and focus are pin sharp. This is well framed and composed. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! very nice indeed and I almost have this exact same shot. Nice job on the focus and I like how the sun hits and shows shadows. Not sure where you are but zinnias are really great for butterflies and hummingbirds. Very nice composition and thanks for sharing it.

Stunning capture! Your shot is sharp and well exposed giving excellent details to be seen. Good composition.
I like how you captured the sun shining through the wings showing the outline of the butterfly's body. The flower adds interest. Back ground is not over powering so the subject stands out. Nice work, good luck in the contest.

Yes that is the first thing that grabs your attention when you first see this image, that light shining through the wings. I do think the the butterfly is a touch large in the frame and a bit more room arround it would help the composition. It is nice and sharp except for the top on the wing and the background is pretty good (just that one curving band of bright green, through its head, that would be better if it was toned down a bit)

Beautiful image and I sure wish I had a six left to give you. So many great photos that I used them all up but this one deserves it. I really like the backlit wings of this little green butterfly. The wings seem to glow green in this shot. Nice blurred bg and pretty blooms that the sulfer is working over. You camera techs are on the money to capture this shot so well. Excellent work!
