Your artworks backed by the story evokes some emotions in me which I can't explain. Your drawings with washes are superbly expressive. You beautifully balance the positive and negative spaces.

thank you-- I too was surprised, I had been to a reform Synagogue many, many times, weekly but never to an orthodox synagogue. As a child, my mum had told me stories of the orthodox back at home, and how her best friend was a little jewish boy and on a hot day they both crept into the cathedral, to cool down- but in England I had expected a tuned down version..

Nice flow, with the shades and shapes, traversing through the composition. It looks like a party or someone's view of a stage show at a night club. I think the tonal variation in the grayscale are very appealing to look at in this. Nicely done piece.

In the centre of the Synagogue is a raised platform from which the Rabbi reads and speaks. Thank you
