If only I had 6 stars ! This series has been the most moving series I have had the privilege to be apart of through view these incredible photographs and read these wonderful stories. You have the talent of telling a story with a photography that makes you feel you were apart of the event. I am honored and feel so fortunate to be able to call you my dear friend.

What a beautiful story. Great depth of field, delightful attention to detail and perfect coloration. The fact that there is a story behind this hat makes the capture even more precious. Fantasticly presented. 10 thumbs up!!!

Nice shot Low and a good story to go along with it. I'm a hat guy so I can appreciate the meaning of one. Your composition is good and the color and clarity are as well. I would try the same shot in a few different settings and you may have even better success. The lighting seems a bit harsh as it is reflecting of the post and shows a heavy shadow right at the edge of the hat on the post. Perhaps if you tried under and over exposing this in a couple different shots you would get that perfect light.

Yep, I am a hat gal and I have always admired this hat, was very surprised bro gave it to me--- The actual print of this came out better than this upload, I can't figure why the post in the upload appears to have some magenta hue, in the print it is just simply gray with no glow---any suggestions or ideas? Thank you very much for your time and review Shade, great to see your name again!!

The details in the hat are great .You can see his fingers moving the hat through the smudges left there by time. The story is great and what an honor to receive the hat as a gift.

Thank you for your terrific review Country!! I feel very honored that my bro gave me this hat, however, as much as I love it, it was hard for me to take and he had to make me take it, but so glad I did, the irony is I had bought him a Harley for his 50th b-day as a surprise for the day after he gave me the hat, so that made him feel even greater about giving me his hat---truly a pivotal moment!

A great shot, you have composed the shot beautifully. The hat tells such a big story, almost a shame to read about it as it can have so much mystery behind it. The texture and clarity are brilliant. Rafik

Thank you for your terrific review Rafik, even with the story, there is still mystery for me, but then again, ya might just have to know my bro, he quite the character---been bitten by rattlers 3 times, never go to doc, he says his left side goes a little numb for a few days, no big deal---my son calls him 'Uncle Fool'!
