What i love of your shots, LowRider is that besides being good as shots, they have a story to tell and this makes them more significant. This hat, for instance, has so many stories to tell ( besides the love for sis), that we look at each detail and follow the phases of its owner. Well done and well told.

Only you LowRider could take a picture of a hat and turn it in to art. With your story attached to this, it has transformed this excellent shot to a work of art.

My goodness Deb, the bro's old hat is really looking sharp here. That negative scan looks like it added some add vibrancy . I can see the feathers on the hawk talons and foot and even the dark blue beads on the hanging tassel. Also I enjoyed the notes on this again. Is the negative scans much hassle and expense?

Thank you for your incredible review Ben!! I got this Epson Perfection 4180 Photo scanner last Christmas, think was on sale for around $200, reg. about $250, not really a hassle at all, just find the right negative, put row of negs into holder, remove part of inside of scanner that is easily removable and replacing, scan takes 2 - 3 minutes, is really worth it because some of my prints come out cropped too close, I run the scan and discover I actually didn't frame too closely---I think was a very good investment! Is quite interesting how different some of my pics come out after running the neg.
