Excellent dramatic photo especially for one with an inanimate object. There is something the way the trees curl around each other that tells the story of the fury of the storm/flood. Not unlike what happened in the North east US recently. Great eye!! Paula

I bet on the Traralgon trots. :)

Beautiful landscape! Clear focus! Good framing! Good presentation. Colors are well done! Thank you for sharing. I'm in line for a new camera. I am thinking Nikon as well. The camera did you well!

Thanks so much, Nikon is my first SLR and I enjoy using it and found it reasonably easy. I usually use the manual settings which are easy to set.

Thanks Wendy, quite amazing to see so many areas impacted and there are sections still closed to public.

Very good choice of subject to go with the notes and to show us the damage. It seems like many places are having trouble like this. Thanks for sharing the photo and information!

How sad :( I too hope and pray that y'all don't have any wild fires. I live in an area of America that has more than it's share of tornados so I can understand about natural disadters.
Your point of view and subject matter are excellent. Nice focus also. Thanks for sharing. :) ~ Jes

Amazing that people like you are taking pictures of that kind to show the world what we as family of men are creating through our impacts in the environment - permanent abuse of all kind and of all resources has to come back to us to really show us the hidden truth - it is so sad and I can tell you we went through the same situation and lost all - houses- belongings and lives - this picture is the perfect call for more love ad environment protection so the elements will stay in peace with us and we can live paradise instead of devastation - thanks for sharing - good picture - great impact

You are so right my dear - but WE MANKIND are creating these disasters, because out industries and Governments do NOT reespect MOther Eart and her gifts for us - we pollute everythig uining our own precious life sources and Monther Earth has decded to heal herslef shaking all pain off her body - and that is a way to awaken people form their abusiv way - when they do not come back to harmony by free will something has to happen that w remember that we are guests her and not the owners and that all belongs to everyone and not just to few and the rest can starve - you see ? all makes sense and the result of a disaster is THAT ALLS TICK TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT RELIGION OR CULTURE JUST TO HELP AND TO SUPPORT AND THAT IS WHAT WE NEED ON EARTH LOVE AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER - so your picture has a very great value in that sense and that is opening eyes, hearts and minds - I wish you a happy weekend
