how funny...he looks like he wants a swimming companion. Nice catch Mary with good framing and timing. Focus is nice and sharp. Shows good detail and nice feather texture. Gave me a chuckle at 5.30 this morning. Great shot.

Great capture of these two birds, and they really do look like they are having a conversation! The Pelican is done well with great clarity and good detail, and very nice lighting. Well composed presentation. Visually very appealing. A pleasure to view!

Very nice capture of ducky and the pelican. Good focus and clarity. Colors are nice and vivid. I saw pelicans when I was in the Navy but not like this one. I believe the ones I saw were either a brownish or grayish. The detail of this pelican are really awesome. That is one stout bird with short thick legs and gigantic feet. amazing and thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much, this pelican is native to Australia and very different to USA pelicans which are brownish. Appreciate your feedback. :) Mary

I love this pelican. His eye staring at the other bird is funny along with the great pink beak. So cute how you narrated between them. The duck is cute too. Nice shot!
thanks, levon7

The Pelican is wondering what the heck the duck is! He/she looks huge compared to it. Fine focus, comp and dof

A photo with a story. (Maybe many). Excellent depth of field/sharpness. Good color and contrast. I think positioning the birds a little more off-center, creating an asymmetrical composition would be more interesting.
