It is hard to see a man's life so changed by one cruel act.

The photo of Willy draws you in to his world. Your eyes are drawn from his long beard to his barely visible eyes.

The subject is the center of the picture, and in excellent focus. Still, it is the story behind who this man is that makes the photo so special.

This picture is perfect for the story line I am presenting of people in exile,
desolation, adventure, and discovery of a new life after the destruction of the world by nature look on the mans face is intelligent, thoughtful and kind.
I would have liked a woman companion or a view of water.

Deb I just love William and his story. This is the photo that made me very curious about you! That's when I knew you were an angel sent here for those of us that need that special touch that only angels have. You captured Williams very soul through his eyes!

Hi LowRider,
As always,I look forward to viewing your works,my friend, and this portrait ( and even more so!) the story behind it really grabbed my attention!
I can actually really identify with "Willy"! Though I'm no 'biker' ( "rat rods" are more my 'cup o' char'! ) I unfortunately know all too much about "head shots" ( It's too long of a story to bore you with here! LOL! ) and the life changing consequences brought about by them!
I wish "Willy" the best and I really like your marvelous portrait of him! :D

The coloring on this photo is amazing. I love how the red on the man's knuckles balances the red in the hat. You also captured the essence of the man in the shot. He has great integrity and expression. congrats.

Great work!! The photograph give status to the story. Really all a photographer can ask for. Technically, fantastic shot of a real character. Good control of what seems like harsh lighting.
