What an incredible story of an incredible man. Your composition and fine details of his character lines on his face confirms your notes on this man's life. You've done a fabulous job of presenting him with great style. Beautifully done!

Hello LowRider love the story to this as well. Yes he is a man of character you can see it in his face. I'm sure he has a lot of stories to tell also. Lighting is excellent as well a natural skin tones. Really an enjoyable view and story, thank you for sharing Low.

What an incredible story to illustrate the wonderful portrait, LowRider. I am not easy to be moved, but this story touched me deeply. Life can be really cruel, yet this man has kept his dignity and love--the fact he collects cans and uses the money for the granddaughter's education is amazing. And the shot does show the man Willy is inside: there is good displayed in the smile, in the whole expression. Becoming a drunk may have deteriored his physical aspect, but surely didn't spoil is good nature and character. A speaking portrait, very well done.

A picture is worth more than a thousand words. Extremely well composed and somehow, it communicates the feeling of closeness with the subject.

What a wonderful photo. The story enhances this piece quite nicely. I like the way that you captured this shot in the sunlight, with a hint of wind (by the way his beard is slightly askew). Thanks so much for sharing.

Hiya Outlaw Lowrider!.. You really did good on this and I know I am going to run out of 6-star shooter bullets but am compelled to award one to you. Quite a story and quite a legacy this is. It is so fitting that you came back with this most excellent photo created fro the negative scan. This photo is like night and day in comparing to the print scan; would you kind of agree? Every day we wake up is a day closer to losing someone one love and rarely do we know which day it will be.

Again, I am most honored by this 6 shooter!! Thank you for this incredible review Ben!! Yep, it is just amazing what a difference running the negative made, really need to start running the negs on a regular basis--- Yes, life seems to get too hard at times, but I know I will grow spiritually--

I remember the initial post LowRider and the color version is as wonderful. My prayers are with You, Willy and Doug for strength and better health. You have really captured Willy's charm and character from a less than easy life. He is immortalized through your wonderful stories and pictures and the times you've shared I am certain you will cherish a lifetime. Thanks so much for sharing a wonderful piece of this great man. :)
