Great shot you caught him just right. I like the way some of the background is blurred bringing the foreground out to the eye also the greens in the background compliments the reds on the subject.Well done

Such a colourful bird. We have Finches in the UK but not this one, I don't think. Gorgeous red colour which is just so bright. Really stands out against all the tones of green in this image. I like your framing and the pine needles which provides a lot of interesting texture. I also like the area where the green and yellow tones blend together. Very well framed and spot on focus and DoF.
