Awww look at this wee fellow and looks like you had to look through the branches to capture him. Love the colors and the greens make the little fellow just pop! Nice crisp clarity with excellent framing Willie! Amazing lighting I might add!

This is a super photo. My eye goes right to the bird which has great detail and color. I like the greens and branches for the framing. Nice b/g blur. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest Willie.

Thank you so very much! No flash. I rarely use one. This is all natural lighting. I did adjust the brightness a little and the contrast.

Great shot of this pretty boy! I rarely get to see these in their breeding colors - they hang out in the wood behind us to play their mating games. He seems fearless and gives you a good portrait opportunity, which you caught with skill and great composition. Nice work!
