Great color tones on this image. The bird really stands out against the brilliant green background. Great definition on the plummage. Nice composition with the tree needles forming a natural frame.

very nice photograph of a house finch in a pine tree. i love the detail of the pine tree, and it's elegant colors in greens. the house finch's complementary color red really works nicely to balance the whole scene, and create a harmonic compsition that is is pleasant and interesting to view. very nice presentation and clarity. the little bird is cute

I don't think this photo could be improved upon. It has everything. Diagonal lines supporting the bird, great color contrast with the bird color and vegetation. Wonderful natural framing with the pine hanging down...and wonderful focus...everything is clear. Those feathers look very soft. Great shoot!

Excellent capture, Willie. Beautiful colours. Great depth of field with nicely blurred background and great contrasting colours in the finch. I like the framing of the tree foliage. Beautiful clear focus on the details in the bird and how you've positioned him off to the side so we can share his view. Taylor

This is beautiful. I have never had a chance like to this one...they always fly off or to far away from me to get this kind of shot. Im jealous lol. Love the colors contrasting against each other, lighting and comp. Well Done!

The needles on the tree are a great frame for the subject, and with the prism of color reflective in the needles makes it interesting. The shadows, and background needles made just a delicate background that doesn't overtake, or over power the subject. Nice, really nice.
