What a pretty little bird. I had no idea it was so much red in them. I like the light green tones in the background, and how the pines are framing the bird in such a lovely way.
It is hardly necessary to say that this is a sharp photo, but perhaps not with the same clarity as I normally see in your bird shots. I can see that you have added contrast, but perhaps this photo just needs a tad more. Perhaps it is just my monitor. The exposure is nice and the background is nicely lit.
This is a perfect composition with the bird sitting off to the right, and the cropping is neatly done. Well taken photo with perfect DOFF and good balance.

Thank you so very much! I have another version of this with scripture from the bible as I do with about 200 other bird pictures. I have printed them all 4x6 and put them in a picture album. I am going to go to floral and gift shops, funeral homes and churches in hope of selling some. I have also submitted some without the scripture to a stock photo site. I really need to sell some.

I really hope you will sell some of these, because I know your bird shots are of very good quality. I am sure you have plenty of them by now. I think it was a good idea to add scriptures. This will probably touck people more than just the photo on its own.

wow the colourings are soooo rich and vibrant in this. Lovely framing of the piece with those leaves and i like where the bird is placed. Great compositon chosen and such a cute subject. Would make a lovely greeting card

To get one to land just next to you and to be camera ready, well done. Lighting and detail looks great. Might be a bit on the grain side for some reason, but not enough to worry about. Thanks for sharing, always like bird snaps.
