What gorrrgeous colors and angle, showing his wings so clearly against the soft background. This could use a bit of sharpening and some shadow/highlight adjustment on the dark center.

Mary,
A beautifully sunlit picture of this Honey bee its head deep into the purple floret. Its gossamere wings against the soft blurred green background. Beautiful composition with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a lovely composition. Great colours and perfect aperture selection. I appreciate that these shots are incredibly difficult to get (I have been largely unsuccessful with these so far). My only criticism is that the image is a tad soft. One tip that might help is to switch to automatic burst mode when taking these kinds of pictures and then fire off several shots in rapid succession. According to Scott Kelby, this maximises your chances of getting one frame that is tack sharp. I hope that this helps. Nice work though...

A very nice shot of this bee with great initial impact. The color here is really great. I like the softness of the dof but the bee itself looks just a little soft. Also his head is a little dark, I would try dodging it just a bit. Excellent composition on the thirds with nice balance from the flowers. Overall excellent shot.
