An extremely good image of this colourful bird. Great composition , focus and clarity. Subject stands out well on blurred background.

I love the bright red cardinals. They bring great color to the otherwise dull landscape of winter.
This is a great capture.
Good composition and presentation

In my opinion, this is a perfect shot, just the right amount of blur to move the eye of the viewer to the eye of the bird, soft green background to pop him out, and just enough delicate needles for a frame! Can I ask the camera settings..just curious, might want to give a cardinal a try! Donkeyoatey

What a good photo.
The blurring background let the viewer focus on the bird.
The colors are so clean and pure on the bird and the focus is very sharp.
Love this one.

photos like this are one reason why i have a bird feeder in my yard. this one is a keeper. the depth of field blurs the background to enhance the foreground and the contrasting colors of green and brown surrounding all that red. nice
