It looks 3-dimensional and jumps off the page. I love the colors, very nice. The black really sets it off. Prettiest snowflake I've seen. I can't believe everything you had to do to it. Alot of work it sounds like, but worth it. Success!
thanks, Levon7

That is one of the most beautiful and delicate snowflakes I have seen. It even has a high resemblance with authentic snowflake in macro photography. Amazing work. You know your digital tools and you know how to use them, Bravo!

Really like this picture. So much to see in this one. Colors, clarity, DOF and lighting are wonderfully done. Love the colors too!

Helvi this quickly caught my eye and so nice to get involved with this upload.
The first thing that touched me was the colour palette of blue and black...blue being the colour that is associated with cold and what an ingenious perspective making a snowflake blue instead of white, it works very well and demonstrates your creative streak.
I see you have the faintest touches of cyan as well and that softens the flake and makes it less graphic and more personable!...in other words instead of jarring the eye with graphic depiction, you soften it with colour, after all snowflakes are soft, we all know that!....
It is dead center and if anyone tells you it would have worked better to the side tell em to go and eat their lens cap! You have great symmetry here all round and that is very balancing.
You have developed within this upload a three dimensional feel to it and I see you did it with varying shades of blues and have changed the opalescence within the blues to give depth, masterfully handled.
To the viewer your image ignites our imagination and this could be viewed from the top of a pine tree partially covered with snow, it could be the bottom of a fancy basket (like they make here in Thailand) or it could be a starry starry night...paint your portrait blue and black!

Love you comment on "if anyone tells you this would have worked better in the side, tell em to go and eat their lens cap!' LOL I wanted this to have a three dimensional look and I SO glad you noticed that! I don't think anyone can TOP this lovely review. I am truly honored. Thank you SO MUCH! :o) Helvi
