I am pretty sure, that when we truly love someone we do not see them the same way others do. I think for us they become much more, and much deeper than most people can see. I find your picture interesting, and even a little graphic. DonkeyOatey

I am not sure anymore with that one. People say is looks sad. It isen't supposed to do that. It indeed is more serious than the usual pink cherubim. It goes down memory lane the good and the bad. The couple is about ion the middle of their life. I had the love in red, but somehow the color red seemed not be right. I think the eye is maybe it is still to small. People do not realize the couple in there. Do you? I have another with the Iris extracted and the eyelashes, but it dos not work either.

Very nice creative graphic to illustrate your lovely sentiment of " loving" all year round not just one day. I hope you have a lovely day. Grammysandy

Thank you very much. I tried to awaken a bit more serious thoughts. I lately realize that the usual greeting cards are to often thoughtless send and as thoughtless received.

It is the same but different as you placed the eye with a huge message - LOOK THROUGH AND WITH THE EYES OF LOVE AND LIFE AND THE WOLRD WILL BECOME A DIFFERENT ONE - it depends on what we focus on we experience - great way to express love in a simple way showing a butterfly in the eye ball composed of two colors pink for love and purple for transformation, very nice idea, great composition, very creative and well pretreated

Thank you very much, You got the message. I know you would. Look closely at the butterfly. Two people will emerge. A woman [red] and a man [purple]. They are holding hands.

and a Happy Valentines day to you Cleo. Its quite a styalized take on the theme and I don't know why but I feel a tinge of saddness with it, I think its the eye. Very creatively put together. Good use of the different layers and it certainly grans your attention.

Thank you Corinna. I appreciate your review as always. Sadness? Somebody else said that too. I have to look into it. Truth it dos goes down memory line, it was not meant to be sad.

I love the creativity and thought that went into it.
I don't see the love theme in it apart from seeing the word love in it and maybe the couple, although I don't think it adds anything special to it. The black color wouldn't be my choice for the theme of love together with the sad eye.Good luck!

Thank you very much for your honest review. I truly appreciate your point of view, but I do not understand what you mean. What could better symbolize Love than a loving couple colored red [love!] and violet[ mystery and eternity]? Please could you specify. I truly do not understand. How would you show love, better than with a couple of lovers?
Why do you think the eye is sad? There are no tears; but the symbolic green of life.
Why not a black as background? Black gives more dept than any color or white. It also symbolize the night. The night is usually for lovers, or is it not?
I would very much appreciate if you would respond to my questions. I really want to know.

I understand why you chose the colors that you did now that you have explained it to me and I know where you are coming from, sorry, it's just my perception on how I see it, I still think it's great.I guess we all see things differently. The eye just looks sad to me and the black accentuates that I think.

Don't be sorry, It is just your perception which is interesting to me. Apparently not only that wee all see things differently, but some of persona;l perception seems to be influenced by a certain group dynamic and the place of living. Arts seem to be received differently by Europeans, and Latin American than by US Americans not know about Canada]

Did you got a kiss back?
The 3D is another of my family secretes. Actually its not much different than you do in your paintings. It is basically as kind of shading. :-)
