Great visual impact with the contrasting colours and simple design with a strong message! Thanks for the notes, though I thought it was to do with bloodshed between warring countries or places, particularly because of the crosses that to me represent barbwire and conflict at every turn. An excellent painting! Well done!

When I first saw this I immediately thought of the demilitarised zone between North and South Korea. But I can also see your point of view as well. Its a very stark and compelling image.

A very symbolic piece that makes the viewer stop and think for a moment. The barbed wire indicates the strong divide to me - both sides trying to keep the other out.

Exceptional piece. Could also represent gangs, bullying and other such happenings of our modern world.

I love this. I once traveled through a border like this when I went to East Germany.. before the wall came down. This painting strongly conceptualizes this experience to me. the reds of strife and emotion on either side of the barbed wire zone.. Very very emotive.. Very strong work!
