Mary,
A beautiful shot of both the bee & the flower of the Passion Flower with is stamen & pistil thought to resemble the five nails & the whip used to torturer Christ at the Crucifixion. Beautiful composition, framing lighting with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Passion flowers are wonderful with their very distinction centres. This particular bloom is very pale lilac or lavender flushed with white. I like your framing showing the centre but also the petal arrangement. The green leaves frame the flower beautifully and fill the frame. The bee adds more interest. Focus is spot on and colours are natural in appearance.

The color is organic and exhilarating. The detail of the bee is minute in origin I can almost see the intricate lines of the wings. This flower reminds me of a summer carnival ride waiting to load passengers before taking them on a death defying spin. Very summer, very green, very beautiful.
