This is a face that you have to care about to see the real beauty in. When you look at the individual parts you come up with an Ernest Borgnine face and no one would say he is handsome or pretty but you do get to witness a great talent and spark of a great personality. Her ball skills certainly display both. Great tonal variations of the grays, the intense eyes and the wrinkles are all well captured for a charming portrait.

Gidget is beautiful. Looks like she's having fun with her toy. Love the position of her head and the fullness of the frame. Could you possible clone out the line in her eye? It looks like a piece of hair. Best wishes for the contest, she is as cute as she can be.

Perhaps you could crop it a little tighter on the right side so that the eye stays focused on the pup and not the negative space on the right.
